Pune-Hubli Vande Bharat Express: The first voyage of the recently introduced Vande Bharat Express, which connects Pune and Hubli, instead of commencing on September 15 as initially planned, has been rescheduled to September 16. This inaugural journey will be virtually launched by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, from Jamshedpur.
Conferring to the Pune Division of the railway, the initial test ride will be postponed by one day to allow for the final sign-off from the upper echelons of authority.
Ram Paul Barpagga, the spokesperson for the Pune Division of Central Railway, affirms that Pune is set to experience a significant advancement soon. The local railway department has chosen to postpone their initial trial journey by one day, just to make sure they obtain the final go-ahead from the top brass.
Pune-Hubli Vande Bharat Express: Route Details
The train will depart from Hubli, Karnataka at 5:00 AM, beginning its journey to Pune. After a comfortable ride, it will arrive in Pune at 1:30 PM, providing ample time for passengers to disembark and attend to their activities. Following a brief halt of one hour, the train will depart from Pune at 2:30 PM, marking the start of its return journey. The train will then reach its final destination, Hubli, at 10:00 PM,” he said.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was set to inaugurate the new Vande Bharat Express train connecting Pune in Maharashtra with Hubli in Karnataka through a virtual ceremony from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand on Sunday (September 15), but now, it will be inaugurated on September 16 and will be flagging off the run virtually from Jamshedpur.
The commuters who manage the train system have put together a schedule to make the journey between the two cities as smooth as possible for travelers. The single trip will eat up roughly 8.5 hours, and if you’re going back and forth, you’re looking at a solid 17-hour expedition.
