Quay links with Sza for music-inspired sunglasses collection

Global eyewear brand Quay has partnered with Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Sza for a new spring collection.

The exclusive edit includes colour pops, oversized frames and statement styles that come together “in one show-stopping edit”.

It features eight “unique” sunglass styles that “capture the dynamic energy of the acclaimed artist”. Hero pieces include TTYL, a Y2K-inspired rimless style with an apricot tinted lens and ON SET, a studded, oversized, wraparound shade featuring a brush gold frame and gradient lens.

The collab “celebrates self-expression through Sza’s curated lens”, we’re told, and comes with a campaign to illustrate that message, called ‘Sides of SZA’, which “highlights her many sides, from her spiritual depth to her playful and glamorous allure”.

The launch conveniently coincides with Sza’s appearances at summer festivals around the world.

Quay’s “deep-rooted connection to music makes the partnership with Sea a natural fit”, the retailer said.

It noted the brand was “born in the music festival scene, so we are intrinsically connected to music”.  Previous collaborations include Danielle Guizio, Jennifer Lopez, Maluma, Ashley Graham, Kylie Jenner, Paris Hilton, and Lizzo.

The eyewear brand, which is available globally, including 26 company-owned Quay retail boutiques, launches the latest edit online this week.
