Qurate Retail appoints new chief merchandising officer for HSN

Qurate Retail Group announced on Monday the appointment of Rosalia Bucaro to the role of chief merchandising officer for HSN, effective immediately.

Reporting to Stacy Bowe, president of HSN, Bucaro will oversee the strategic direction of merchandising, planning, programming and business development across all product categories and the home shopping network.

With her team, she will focus on revitalizing product assortment, forging dynamic celebrity partnerships and creating a merchandise assortment that resonates with existing and new customers across all channels, according to a press release.

With over two decades of experience in fashion and merchandising, Bucaro comes to the shopping channel from Rue Gilt Groupe, where she served as executive vice president. In this role, she oversaw all aspects of fashion including women’s, men’s, and kids’ divisions, as well as the European luxury division.  Prior to joining Rue Gilt Groupe, Bucaro held various senior positions in merchandising at U.S. department store Bloomingdale’s.
