The EQB get re-designed front bumpers with a new black grill that features the company’s signature star pattern. It also gets LED headlamps with an LED light bar that runs across the grille. At the rear, the changes are minimal.
Similarly, the EQA gets re-designed front and rear bumpers with a new black grill with Mercedes’ signature star pattern and an LED light bar that runs across the grille. The range of the EQA has now increased before, it gets two battery pack options – a 66.5 kWh battery pack with a 411 Km range and a 70.5 kWh battery pack with a 560 Km range (both claimed).
Moving inside, the dashboard layout of the EQB stays the same as before but it now features a star pattern on the dashboard and door trim pieces. The EV also gets a newly designed three-spoke steering wheel with new touch-capacitive buttons on the steering wheel. Other features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest-generation MBUX interface, digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Mercedes Me connected car tech, Burmester sound system with Dolby Atmos and much more. The EQB also gets the Mercedes Me Plug & Charge function which charges the car automatically after being plugged in.
The EQB also gets a self-stabilising trailer hitch that has a maximum payload capacity of 1,400kg for front-wheel-drive models and 1,700kg for four-wheel-drive models.
The EQB is offered in three variants – EQB 250+, EQB 300 4Matic and EQB 350 4Matic. The 250+ gets 70.5kWh battery paired with a single electric motor which puts out 190hp and 380Nm and has a claimed range of 536 Km. The EQB 300 4Matic and EQB 350 4Matic get a 66.4kWh battery pack with dual electric motors which sends power to all four wheels.
