Recovered Clothing and NFL launch sustainable womenswear for first time

The US National Football League’s recent London Games has been a big hit with fans and has also had a big influence on two UK fashion brands. Linked to a trilogy of NFL London games over three weeks, fashion brand Recovered Clothing has launched a new related sustainable women’s capsule collection for the first time. 

It joins fellow fashion brand Just Hype that launched its related collection earlier this month. 

The Recovered x NFL International Games Collection features an exclusive vintage-inspired womenswear line inspired by teams playing in both London and for another game taking place in Frankfurt in early November. 

This partnership is part of a long term collaboration that will see Recovered Clothing and the NFL “explore the rich heritage of the teams involved in the 2023 International Games and beyond”. 

Alongside the inaugural womenswear line, the collection will also feature unisex ready-to-wear pieces across a range of casual T-shirts, sweats and hoodies.

The collection will see “classic NFL designs and organic garments reintroduced and refreshed in a blend of colourful hand dyes and vintage nostalgic washes”. The NFL team prints are reproduced on organic cotton and recycled polyester garments..

Delivery of goods will be complemented with sustainable packaging, through biodegradable cornstarch delivery bags and hangtags made from post-consumer-recycled board.

Recovered Clothing and the NFL will also launch a wider NFL 2023 Season Collection available from November, made up of vintage inspired T-shirts, custom hoodies, sweatpants and more.
