The CSAB Seat Allotment Result–Supernumerary Round will be announced on August 20.
New Delhi: The Central Seat Allocation Board will begin the registration and choice-filling process for the supernumerary round counselling on August 16, 2024. All candidates, who were eligible for JoSAA-2024 / CSAB-2024 Special Rounds as per JEE (Main) 2024 Ranks and having their State Code of Eligibility as the UTs of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands AND who do not have a valid allocated seat in NIT+ system, at the end of all rounds of JoSAA/CSAB-2024, will be eligible for participating in the CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Round of Seat Allocation.
Candidates who have been allocated seats in NIT+ system during the seven rounds of seat allocation (five of JoSAA-2024 and two of CSAB-2024 Special Rounds) and their last allocated seats have not been surrendered/withdrawn/cancelled are NOT Eligible for participating in the CSAB-2024 Supernumerary Round of Seat Allocation. The registration will conclude on August 19.
The CSAB Seat Allotment Result–Supernumerary Round will be announced on August 20. Seat allocation will be done as per merit according to JEE (Main) 2024 CRL rank for the available seats. All candidates who are allocated a seat in the Supernumerary Round are required to upload the following documents.
- Class X Certificate or Birth Certificate
- Class XII Mark sheet
- Category certificate for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS candidates
- UDID Card or / and PwD certificate(s) for PwD candidates
- State of Eligibility Proof
- Medical Certificate
After seat allotment, if the candidate has uploaded all the required documents, she/he MUST pay the Supernumerary Round Seat Acceptance Fee (SSAF) online, the amount of which is given below. The SSAF amount is Rs 45,000 for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and Rs 25,000/for SC/ST/PwD candidates who got the allotment first time. The candidates who paid any fee during JoSAA-2024 and/or CSAB-2024 Special Rounds shall be adjusted towards CSAB-2024 SSAF and the balance amount should be paid.
Online document verification will be done for all the candidates who have successfully uploaded the required documents and paid SSAF within the scheduled time. During document verification process, there may be queries raised by Verifying Officers. Candidates must resolve such queries by responding online through their account on CSAB-2024 portal within the given scheduled timeline.
All the candidates, whose seats have been confirmed after online document verification, will have to report physically at the allotted institute as per the schedule and instructions published on the allotted institutes’ website and complete all the admission modalities.
