Reliance’s Tira launches Augustinus Bader in India

Reliance Retail’s multi-brand beauty business Tira has launched global luxury skincare and haircare brand Augustinus Bader in India, exclusively on Tira’s e-commerce store and in select brick-and-mortar outlets in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and New Delhi.

“At Tira, we aim to bring the best of global and homegrown brands to the Indian consumer,” said Tira’s co-founder Bhakti Modi in a press release. “The introduction of Augustinus Bader in India is yet another step in our endeavour to offer luxury, high-performance skincare that resonates with India’s growing community of beauty connoisseurs.”
 
Augustinus Bader’s products are based on three decades of founder Augustinus Bader’s scientific research and are designed to, “support the human body’s innate capacity to renew and rejuvenate,” according to the label. Tira’s shoppers can now browse products including shampoo, conditioner, hand treatment, scalp treatment, tinted lip balm, body oil, and body lotion among others.
 
“We are incredibly happy to introduce Augustinus Bader, our scientifically backed skincare line that redefines luxury and efficacy to India,” said Augustinus Bader’s co-founder and CEO Charles Rosier. “Tira, with its understanding of Indian beauty market, was a perfect choice for our foray into India. I believe, this exclusive partnership with Tira marks a significant milestone for us, as we expand our footprint into one of the world’s most dynamic beauty markets.”
