NEW DELHI: In a bid to spread financial literacy, especially among school students, the Reserve Bank of India held the third zonal level round of an All-India Quiz on Financial Literacy in the national capital on August 28.
State level winners of Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh competed against each other in this round.
Students from classes VIII, IX, and X of government schools were invited to participate in the quiz, which was started at the block level and held at the district and state levels in order to increase interest in the topic of financial literacy and awareness.
Approximately 10,264 students from 5,132 schools across the states and UTs included in the zone participated at the block level.

ASOSE, Sector 10, Dwarka, Delhi, AUGIC, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, Government Higher Secondary School, Patushai, Sogam, Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, Government Higher Secondary School, Sumoor, Leh, Ladakh, and Government Inter College, Fursatganj, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh competed at the zonal level in Delhi.
The winners, Aman Gupta and Utkarsh Sudhakar from ASOSE in Sector 10, Dwarka, Delhi, were honored by RBI executive director Deepak Kumar as well as other dignitaries in attendance.
The winners will compete in a national competition that RBI will host later.
