Rhone Extends Commuter Collection to Women

Rhone is extending its popular men’s Commuter Collection into women’s.

Rhone launched its first complete women’s collection in May and the initial response has been strong, according to Nate Checketts, chief executive officer. “Many of our styles have sold out, and the restocks in key franchises like DreamGlow have been met with overwhelming enthusiasm. It’s been truly rewarding to see the strong community we’ve built for men now expanding to include a vibrant and engaged female audience.”

Women have also been drawn to Rhone’s Course to Court, Studio and Recovery pieces so the company believed the cooler temperatures of fall “presented the perfect opportunity to introduce a business casual line for women. It aligns with both the evolving needs of our customers and the seasonal shift in wardrobe demands,” Checketts said.

“It felt like a natural extension of our popular Commuter Collection for men,” he continued. “The Commuter Collection has transformed the way men dress for work, and we’ve received countless requests from women asking when we would offer a business casual line that delivers the same comfort and style for the office. This expansion is our answer to that demand, allowing women to experience the same elevated workwear options.”

The launch collection includes a boyfriend blazer, button-front shirts, a cropped jacket, pleated and double bonded trousers and an oversize bonded blazer with four-way stretch, wicking properties, wrinkle resistance and anti-odor technology.

Rhone’s chief product officer, Kelly Cooper, said these pieces are “designed to transition seamlessly across her day. As with everything we create, we infuse performance elements into our designs, making them unique in the market. This allows her to wear these versatile pieces throughout her day without needing multiple outfit changes, ensuring comfort, functionality and sophistication.”

Cooper said going forward, Rhone will continue to offer designs with “a soft, muted color palette that allows for head-to-toe dressing while remaining stylish and wearable. Colors like taupe mist and gray lilac have resonated strongly with our customers — these tinted neutrals are the new black, giving the line a fresh yet timeless appeal.”
