Rituals to open Mind Oasis mental relaxation spa on Paris’s Champs-Elysées

On October 12, Rituals will open the first French branch of its Mind Oasis mental relaxation spa. For its first foray into France, the Dutch beauty brand is thinking big, and will open at number 33 on the highly prestigious avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris.

On the spa’s ground floor, visitors will be able to browse a 200-square-metre retail area, showcasing the full range of skincare and wellness products for the body and home by Rituals. The 300-square-metre first floor will instead host the Mind Oasis spa, featuring two experiences: mental relaxation and hydromassage.

The six mental relaxation cabins are equipped with ‘zero gravity’ armchairs, on which customers will enjoy breathing exercises, 4D sound stimulation and haptic vibrations, a brain-wave stimulation that “can induce a deep meditative state, also called theta,” noted Rituals, keen to help its customers unwind (a 30-minute session costs €29.50).

For the hydromassage sessions, customers have at their disposal nine hydromassage beds, on which the water’s lulling motion will help release tension thanks to circular massage movements. The sessions are accompanied by the sounds of nature and can include the Ritual of Jing lavender and cedar wood aromatherapy (a 20-minute session costs €19.90).

The first Mind Oasis was inaugurated in Amsterdam in 2020 at the House of Rituals, the brand’s flagship spa. Another opened this summer in Antwerp, Belgium, and, after Paris, Mind Oasis will soon arrive at the Zeil shopping mall in Frankfurt, on more than 600 square metres, and in Barcelona, at the brand’s future flagship at 6 Paseo de Gracia, in November.
 
Rituals first opened in France in 2015, and will be operating 130 stores in the country by end 2023. The brand was B Corp-certified in 2022, and is present in 36 countries with 1,060 stores, 3,900 concessions and five spas, in addition to the Mind Oasis branches.
