Rohit did pick up a shoulder spasm against Ireland in India’s opening game, but then, he confirmed that he was alright and it was not anything major.
New York: Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Indian cricket team and a premier batter who opens. He is always a very important member of the side and hence there is panic among fans after anchor Sanjana Ganesan took to Instagram and came up with a cryptic post which hinted that Rohit may not lead the Indian side at the Nassau County International cricket stadium on Sunday. Sanjana took to Instagram and wrote: “Can’t wait for Jasprit to do the toss.”
But is there any truth to this claim? No, there is nothing official. Rohit did pick up a shoulder spasm against Ireland in India’s opening game, but then, he confirmed that he was alright and it was not anything major. Reports suggest that Rohit is already there at the Nassau County today for a session.
Earlier, Rohit picked up a sprain on his shoulder against Ireland which forced him to retire hurt when on 52* off 37 balls.
