Discount retailer Ross Stores, Inc. has successfully achieved its growth strategy for 2024, after recently opening 47 new locations across the nation.
The retailer opened 43 new Ross Dress for Less stores and four dd’s Discount stores in 22 different states in the months of September and October, in addition to opening 89 other retail locations throughout the year, thereby completing its store growth plan for fiscal 2024.
“This fall, we continued to expand our presence in both existing and newer markets,” said Richard Lietz, executive vice president of property development, in a statement. “At Ross Dress for Less, we added locations in Minnesota, New York, and Pennsylvania while also increasing our presence in the sunbelt states.”
“At dd’s, we grew our footprint in California, Florida, New Mexico, and Texas. Looking ahead, we remain confident in our expansion plans and see plenty of opportunity to grow to at least 2,900 Ross Dress for Less and 700 dd’s Discount locations over time.”
At the moment, Ross Stores, Inc. operates a total of 2,192 locations Ross Dress for Less and dd’s Discounts in 43 states, the District of Columbia, and Guam. Headquartered in Dublin, California, Ross Dress for Less is the biggest off-price apparel and home fashion retailer, with a revenues of 20.4 billion dollars in fiscal 2023.
