SAG Awards 2024: Nominee Hannah Waddingham leads Ted Lasso glamour in ruby gown with a thigh split as she’s joined by co-stars Juno Temple, Jason Sudeikis and Brett Goldstein

Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham cut a very glamorous figure as she stepped out to the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on Saturday.

Actress Hannah, 49, who is nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role as Rebecca Welton on the show, wore a ruby red off-the-shoulder gown with a long fishtail train which swept the floor.

The garment featured a low-cut neckline and a thigh-high split, leaving her long slender leg on display.

British screen star Hannah added a few inches to her stature by opting for a pair of high-heeled shoes for the evening.

She was joined at the event by her co-star Juno Temple who wore a sleeveless midnight blue gown, with the Ted Lasso cast being nominated for the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series prize.

The dress featured a low-cut square neckline and a front split which left her long legs on show.

A pleated skirt section swept the floor beside her as she posed, with the long train of the dress laying out on the ground.

She confidently posed with her hand on her hip and carried a black handbag with her, and boosted her height by wearing a pair of black platform heels.

The were joined by Jason Sudeikis, 48, and Brett Goldstein, 43, who are both nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series category.

Both actors wore almost identical black tuxedos with matching bow ties and white shirts.

After a taxing 118-day strike, the Screen Actors Guild will be honoring the best performers in film and television at the 30th annual SAG Awards.

Winners are determined by SAG-AFTRA members, who vote for their favorites across a number of categories.

Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani announced the nominations earlier this year on Instagram Live, with Barbie and Oppenheimer leading the film nominations with four nods each.

Netflix will live stream the ceremony for the first time. Last year’s awards were streamed on Netflix’s YouTube account.

The awards come just months after SAG-AFTRA struck a deal with film studios following a months-long strike with pay in the streaming era and artificial intelligence top issues of concern.

The strike began on July 25, 2023 and a tentative deal was struck on November 8. It formally ended on December 5, 2023 with a 78% yes in voting.

Despite disagreements over the final deal, the outcome was a huge relief for union leaders and the entertainment industry following a gruelling few months of strikes. The boycott coincided with the WGA strike, which lasted from May 2 to September 27.
