Samsung is set to expand its affordable segment smartphone lineup in India. The tech giant has confirmed that its newest Galaxy A series smartphone – the Galaxy A05s– will be launched on October 18 in India. Samsung claims that this budget smartphone will offer an improved camera, display and powerful performance. Last month, the company also launched the Galaxy A05 model which also offers similar specifications.

Samsung claims that the main 50MP shooter is capable of taking vivid and rich pictures, even in low light conditions. Galaxy A05s will also come with 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras. The 13MP front camera will also help users to take sharp and clear selfies.
Galaxy A05s will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor for improved performance. Built on 6nm process technology, the Snapdragon 680 chipset can seamlessly multitask between apps. The smartphone also promises a “refined build and finish and will carry forward Samsung’s signature galaxy design.”
