Samsung: Samsung’s world’s first dual-UHD monitor to be available in October

Samsung officially announced the world’s first dual-UHD monitor, the Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NC) at the CES event which was held earlier this year. The monitor was also awarded the CES 2023 Best of Innovation Award and has continued gaining traction from the gaming world since it was revealed.
The South Korea-based tech giant showcased the new monitor at the Gamescom 2023 event. The company has now revealed the price and availability details of the Odyssey Neo G9 monitor. The 57-inch gaming monitor looks like having two 32-inch 4K displays placed next to each other.
Apart from this, the company has also launched the 55-inch Odyssey Ark monitor which will also be available in the US in October. Samsung claims that this monitor will be able to show up to four inputs on the screen at once (three HDMI and a DisplayPort). The Odyssey Ark monitor will also house a built-in KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) switch. However, Samsung hasn’t revealed the price of the Odyssey Ark monitor yet.
Samsung Odyssey Neo G9: Price and availability
Samsung has updated its blog post to announce that the Odyssey Neo G9 will be available in the US in October for $2,499 (nearly Rs 2,06,000). UK customers will also be able to preorder the monitor for £2,199.99 (nearly Rs 2,30,000).
Samsung Odyssey Neo G9: Key specs
The 57-inch monitor has a curved Mini LED display that supports a refresh rate of 240Hz, a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a 4K resolution.
For multitasking, the monitor is also equipped with picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture display modes. This will help users to display content from multiple inputs, simultaneously.
For connectivity, the monitor has a DisplayPort 2.1 port, three HDMI 2.1 ports and a USB hub. The monitor also supports AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro variable refresh rate tech.
