Samsung recently launched its mid-range premium smartphone, Galaxy S23 FE. Now, it appears that the smartphone maker is gearing up for the launch of its next-generation Galaxy S-series smartphones.
As reported by a Korean publication, Samsung is said to launch its Galaxy S24 series of smartphones in January next year. The company may launch the smartphone series at a physical event in San Francisco. The Galaxy S24 series is said to offer three smartphones — Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series expected features
As per leaked information circulating online, there’s considerable excitement surrounding the upcoming release of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This highly anticipated device is expected to feature a striking 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED LTPO display, boasting an impressive 120Hz refresh rate.
A notable upgrade comes in the form of the frame material, as reports suggest a shift from the Aluminum frame of its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, to a Titanium frame.
In terms of performance, the phone is anticipated to be powered by the soon-to-be-released Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, set to debut later this year. The primary camera is expected to retain its impressive 200MP sensor, accompanied by a 12MP sensor, a 50MP sensor, a 10MP sensor, and a 12MP selfie camera.
Running on Android 14 with One UI 6, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumoured to be equipped with a robust 5000mAh battery, supporting convenient 45W charging.
