Samsung has introduced a new Medications tracking feature to its Samsung Health app in India, aimed at helping users manage their medications more effectively
New Delhi – Samsung has introduced a new Medications tracking feature to its Samsung Health app in India, aimed at helping users manage their medications more effectively. This feature allows users to track their prescribed and over-the-counter medication schedules, particularly beneficial for those managing chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, PCOS, and PCOD.
The feature provides users with essential information, including medication descriptions, potential side effects, and safety tips, such as adverse reactions from drug-to-drug interactions. Users can set up reminders for taking medications and refills, with customizable alert levels. Galaxy Watch users can also receive medication alerts on their devices.
Developed by Samsung’s R&D, Design, and Consumer Experience teams, the Medications feature addresses the needs of Indian consumers. It integrates with Samsung Health’s other offerings like sleep tracking, mindfulness programs, and irregular heart rhythm notifications, expanding its capabilities to support more aspects of personal health management.
The feature will be available in India through updates to the Samsung Health app for users with Android 10.0 or later and Samsung Health app version 6.28 or later.
