Scotch & Soda has officially opened its first New York City store in the heart of Soho, as the Dutch fashion brand looks to make inroads in the U.S.
Located at 470 Broadway, the new Scotch & Soda Soho store opened to the public on October 18, and offers a curated selection of men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel and accessories.
“Enjoy an immersive shopping experience featuring Scotch & Soda’s signature, eclectic style and the latest fall collections,” said the Bluestar Alliance-owned brand, about the new NYC store, in a press release.
The NYC debut serves as the latest step in the Amsterdam-based firm’s North American growth strategy, after the appointment of American pop-star Joe Jonas as its first-ever ambassador in September this year.
Founded by Joseph Gabbay and Ralph Gindi in 2006, Bluestar Alliance owns and manages a portfolio of consumer brands that span across many tiers of distribution from luxury to mass market.
In addition to Scotch & Soda, which it rescued from bankruptcy in May 2023, the U.S. management firm’s portfolio includes Hurley, Bebe, Elie Tahari, Kensie, Justice, Catherine Malandrino, Nanette Lepore, English Laundry, Brookstone, Joan Vass and Limited Too.
