Last night was a hauntingly good time as we plunged into the spookiest season of the year. From spine-chilling soirées in LA to costume extravaganzas in NYC, Vogue made the rounds at 2024’s top Halloween parties, sinking our fangs into the season’s most coveted invites.
Starting out East, “The City That Never Sleeps” set the tone with a late-night séance at Hulaween: Garden of Good and Evil, founded by the Queen of Hocus Pocus herself, Bette Midler. In honor of the New York Restoration Project’s 28th annual gala, it was a night to remember, celebrating another year of the nonprofit’s transformative cleaning and greening efforts across New York City. The highlight? Midler sang to Robert De Niro as she honored the actor, producer, and director with the “Wind Beneath My Wings” Award.
Next up, E.T. phoned home to Heidi Klum’s Halloween bash at the Hard Rock Hotel New York, where the two-story venue transformed into a sci-fi thrill. Heidi stunned as E.T., complete with animatronic eyes, alongside her husband, Tom Kaulitz, as her extraterrestrial sidekick.
Out West, the haunted house-themed party by Paly Hollywood promises a chilling blend of fashion, art, and cult phenomena. The invite-only event will showcase a Halloween capsule and select pieces from the Fall/Winter ‘24 collection. In celebration of Día de Muertos, celebrity photographer Carlos Eric Lopez is hosting his fourth annual gala honoring Eva Longoria and Anthony Ramos.
On the costume front, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024) reigned supreme, with “Shrunken Head Bob” trending as Google’s top Halloween search. Not to be out-kangaroo’d, Raygun took the number two spot, no doubt inspiring trick-or-treaters with her head-turning breakdancing routine during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Third place went to “Catnap” from the Smiling Critters cartoon.
Stay tuned as we send you live updates on this season’s hottest haunts and devilish delights on this Halloween’s most talked about costumes and parties…

Michael Braun and Van Morgan’s Spooky Saloon
For this year’s star-studded Halloween soirée, everyone was transported to the Wild West. Bales of hay guided guests including Emma Roberts, Lori Harvey, Ashley Benson, Emma Chamberlain, Tiffany Haddish, Madeline Petsch, Camila Mendes Rita Ora, and Stella Maxwell up to the rooftop turned old school saloon complete with a mechanical bull, vintage cowboy prints, and lots of Lalo tequila. Paris Hilton took a break from deejaying for the night to show up as pop star Britney Spears in her iconic “…Baby One More Time” look. On theme, Kaia Gerber and Travis Jackson dazzled as Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders while Diplo, Chace Crawford, Rebel Wilson, and Brooks Nader sported rodeo-ready ensembles featuring leather chaps, suede jackets, and some fabulous fringe. Yeehaw!
