Nifty Midcap100 and Smallcap100 ended in the green with 0.06 per cent and 0.96 per cent rise, respectively.
Sensex rose by 526.01 points to settle at 72,996.31. The NSE Nifty also rose by 118.95 points or 0.54 per cent to end at 22,123.65.
The Nifty Bank index comprises 12 banking stocks, gained 185.75 points or 0.40 per cent to finish at 46,785.95.

Sensex traded in the green territory at 72692.60 up by 222.30 points and the Nifty50 index also traded in the green at 22,053.95 up by 49.25 points or 0.22 per cent.

On 26th March, The BSE Sensex today closed in the red territory at 72,470.30 points, went down by 361.64 points. The Nifty50 index went down by 66.55 points or 0.3 per cent to end at 22,030.20.
On 26th March, The Bank Nifty index also ended in the red zone at 46,600.20, lost 0.056%. The Nifty Midcap100 and Smallcap100 both rose by 1.05 per cent and 0.41 per cent, respectively.
