Setur Duty Free reports it completed 2023 with a new record in terms of turnover and started operations in the international arena.
The company recorded strong growth in 2023 by increasing its turnover by 40% compared to the previous year.
This success was driven by the influence of the strategic initiatives performed in marketing, product range, customer experience, and store design resulting a 98% growth in the Perfume & Cosmetics, Boutique & Accessories and Food categories compared to 2022.
In the first three months of 2024, the Turkish duty free operator achieved a turnover increase of 35% compared to the same period of the previous year and achieved a sustainable and strong growth trend.
Setur Duty Free added new locations to its geographical expansions in 2023. Making its first investment abroad, the company opened its duty free store at Cologne-Bonn Airport, one of the busiest airports in Germany, as of 1 June 2023 and made a strong entry into the international arena with innovative store applications that prioritize customer experience.

The company has 55 stores in 22 locations across Turkey. It offers more than 40,000 different products from approximately 600 brands under eight main categories such as perfume-cosmetics, cigarettes, liquor, food, souvenirs, toys, electronics and boutique-accessories.
