The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Mega Auction will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25. A total of 577 players will go under the hammer to fill 204 slots across the 10 franchises – 70 of which are overseas players.
The auction will kick off at 1pm (local time) or 330pm IST on both the days and go on till 8pm (local time). The auction with start off with the Marquee set of player which includes Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Jos Buttler, Arshdeep Singh, Kagiso Rabada and Mitchell Starc. It will be followed by a second Marquee set which will have KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Liam Livingstone, David Miller, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj.
After that, the first set of capped players divided into batters, fast bowlers, wicket-keepers, spinners and all-rounders – will be up. This will be followed by uncapped players of similar categorisation before they go for one more round of the capped players.

Delhi Capitals – Rs 73 crore
Lucknow Super Giants – Rs 69 crore

Chennai Super Kings – Rs 55 crore
Kolkata Knight Riders – Rs 51 crore
Mumbai Indians – Rs 45 crore
Sunrisers Hyderabad – Rs 45 crore
