Skoda Slavia Matte Edition launched at Rs 15.52 lakh: Check variant-wise pricing

Skoda Auto India has introduced a new Matte Edition for the Slavia at a starting price of Rs 15.52 lakh (ex-showroom). As the name suggests, the Slavia Matte Edition gets a matte paint finish with the Carbon Steel Grey shade. The Skoda Slavia Matte Edition is based on the range-topping Style trim, and costs Rs 40,000 more than the corresponding variants.

The Slavia Matte Edition is available with all powertrain options, including the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (113 hp/178 Nm) with both MT and AT, and the 1.5-litre TSI motor (148 hp/250 Nm) with MT and DSG. Apart from the matte paint scheme, no other changes have been made to the sedan whatsoever. On the inside, the Skoda Slavia Matte Edition continues to feature a black and beige theme.

Feature on offer with the Skoda Slavia include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an eight-inch digital driver’s display, a single-pane electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, cruise control, electrically adjustable front seats, up to six airbags, hill-hold assist, rear parking camera, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system and so on.
The Skoda Slavia is now priced from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 19.12 lakh (ex-showroom), and continues to rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Honda City as well as its cousin, Volkswagen Virtus.
