Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have finally made their relationship official today. The couple got engaged in a close-knit ceremony in Hyderabad on Thursday, August 8. Naga Chaitanya’s father and film veteran Nagarjuna Akkineni shared the official pictures from the engagement ceremony and we were awestruck to see their first looks in South Indian attires. To make the ceremony more special, Sobhita and Chaitanya opted for simplicity in what they picked i.e. a peach silk saree and a white silk kurta set with a dupatta.
Sobhita made the most ethereal Manish Malhotra bride in a peach silk saree with intricate embroidery with thread works and beads on the borders. She teamed her stunning six yards with an equally stunning blouse. The silhouette, referenced from paintings of iconic Telugu artist ‘Bapu’ – is a derivation of the classic half-saree style worn by young women of South India.

What made our eyes pleasing was her orange gajra that matched her entire look. It is called Kanakaambaram, a traditional temple flower commonly worn in the hair by Telugu women as well as the eternal Padmam (lotus).
Well, no South Indian bridal attire is complete without gold jewellery. The soon t0 be bride adorned a traditional golden double layered neckpiece with jhumkas and matching bangles and kadas.

The Made in Heaven actress’ diamond solitare ring sparkled on her finger as she was seen tightly hugging her lover. Looking at her makeup, Sobhita didn’t do much of it. She went subtle with her face with matt eyeshadow, dazzling highlighter, perfect brows, blushed cheeks and nude lip shade that enhanced her engagement attire.
Naga Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna took to his social media handle to share the first glimpse of the couple. While Sobhita looked mesmerising in peach, Naga on the other hand looked royal in his all-white outfit. He wore a simple white kurta, paired with off-white dupatta. The happy couple looked stunning in their ethereal South Indian engagement outfits.
