For brides seeking a fantastical feel (or a playful alternative to the well-known cupcake-style wedding gown), look to Simone Rocha’s bow-adorned strappy layered tutu cake dress, complete with pearl headpiece and bedazzled Crocs, or Blumarine’s sable jersey draped dress with otherworldly angel wing accessories.
The idea of playful wedding whites — think oversized bows, voluminous poufs, feathers and corsetry — was also seen from the likes of Jackson Wiederhoeft, Harris Reed for Nina Ricci and Alejandro Gomez Palomo for Palomo Spain.

Tying into the ever-popular trend of bridal minidresses among bridal designers’ collection for wedding receptions, after parties and pre-wedding events, short hemlines continued to prevail in white hues on the spring runways. Case in point: Prada’s ethereal shift (in white, or “something blue”); Stella McCartney’s caped number, perfect for outdoor events; Versace’s sweet and simple mini, as seen modeled by Kendall Jenner, or Jacquemus’ off-the-shoulder style — a great option for bridal brunches.
Elsewhere, traditional wedding glamour, complete with trains, bows, tiers and lace, was seen from the luxury likes of Richard Quinn and Balenciaga.
