Board Exams 2024: As the academic year unfolds, several states across the country will publish separate date sheets for Classes 10, and 12 annual board examinations. These yearly assessments hold great significance, shaping students’ academic journeys and influencing their prospects for future educational pursuits. As the exam months approach, states including Odisha, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, and Chhattisgarh will release the datesheet anytime soon. Here’s the list of state-wise board exams that are likely to be scheduled to begin in mid-February or March 2024.
CBSE Datesheet
Central Board of Secondary Education will publish the datesheets for the 2023-24 Class 10th and Class 12th board exams soon. Students can access the pdf format document at cbse.gov.in and cbse.nic.in. The practical examinations and the board’s annual theory examinations are scheduled to start with effect from February 1, 2024, and February 15 respectively for both Classes X and XII. The maximum mark allotted to each subject is 100 with marks distribution among theory, practical, project, and IA components as per the details mentioned in the PDF shared HERE.

CISCE Timetable 2024 – ICSE, ISC Datesheet
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will publish the datesheet for the Indian School Certificate(Class 12) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Class 10) examinations soon on its dedicated website. Going by the media reports, the Board will publish the CISCE Datesheet 2024 in the month of December 2023. However, an official confirmation from the Board Official is awaited. Once published, candidates can download the CISCE Datesheet by visiting the official website – cisce.org.
Media reports suggest that the board is expected to conduct the ICSE Class 10th annual examination between February and March. Meanwhile, the practical examination for the Class 10th annual exam is expected to be held in January-February, 2024. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode.

MP Board Exam Datesheet 2024
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will conduct the MP board Class 10 exam between February 5 to 28, 2024. The Class 12 exam will be conducted from February 6 to March 5, 2024. CHSE Odisha Class 10, 12 exam dates 2024
The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha will conduct the Class 10th examination from February 20 to March 4. The Class 12 exams will begin from February 14 and conclude on March 13. According to the official notification, the practical exams will be held in the first week of January 2024, i.e. about a month before the theory exams commence. The practical exams’ marks are supposed to be submitted to the council by the second or third week of January. Uttar Pradesh Board Exam Date Sheet 2023-24
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Prayagraj will conduct the UPMSP Intermediate Practical Examination in two phases. The Board has instructed affiliated schools across various divisions including Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti to conduct the UPMSP Intermediate practical exams between January 25, 2024, to February 01, 2024. Meanwhile, the practical examination for the Uttar Pradesh Board Intermediate for the second phase will be held in Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Meerut, and Moradabad divisions from February 2 to February 9, 2024.

Assam Board Exams 2024
As per a PTI report, the Assam government said it has decided to merge the state boards for Class 10 and 12 to make one single entity. The decision was taken at a meeting of the state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. According to a cabinet communique shared by Sarma on X, the Board of Secondary Education, Assam, (SEBA) and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will be merged to create a new body — Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB). The SEBA conducts the Class 10 board examinations, while the Class 12 tests are looked after by the AHSEC. The cabinet decided to merge the two age-old bodies to “develop, regulate and supervise the standards and quality of school education”, the communique said.
Gujarat Board Exam Date Sheet 2023-24
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar has released the date sheets for Class 10(SSC) and Class 12(HSC) board exams 2024. Students can download the GSEB SSC timetable 2024 and GSEB HSC timetable 2024 by visiting the official website of the Board at gseb.org. According to the Gujarat Board exam timetable 2024, the Class 12 science stream and Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) is scheduled to be conducted between March 11 to March 26, 2024.
As per the Gujarat board timetable Class 10th and 12th schedule, the GSEB HSC, SSC exams 2024 will be held from March 11 to March 22, 2024. Meanwhile, the Board will conduct the GSEB vocational stream exams till March 26.
Maharashtra Board Exam 2024
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has already released the Maharashtra Board Exams 2024 Datesheet for Class 10 and Class 12. One can download the Maharashtra board Class 10 and Class 12 exam timetable by visiting the official website – mahahsscboard.in. The Maharashtra Class 10 board exams 2024 will be held between March 1 to March 26, 2024. Meanwhile, the Class 12 board exams 2024 will be held from February 21 to March 19, 2024.

Recently, the Directorate of Government Examinations, Chennai, has shared the datesheet for the TN 10th and 12th public exam timetables 2024. The Higher Secondary Second Year (+2) exams will be conducted from March 1 to March 22. Meanwhile, TN SSLC Exams 2024 will be held from March 26 to April 8.
