Global ed tech company Discovery Education and Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation announced a new phase of their existing partnership called STEM Connect.
It will give UAE educators further access to the resources needed to create “dynamic digital learning environments that nurture student curiosity, drive deep engagement and prepare learners for success in the classroom and beyond”, said Michael Savitz, Discovery Education’s international general manager.
The program provides students between 13 and 18 with short lessons that address real-world STEM challenges. The courses are offered in Arabic and English.
“In today’s rapidly changing world, STEM education is crucial,” said Dr. Sonia Ben Jaafar, CEO of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation.
“By making these subjects engaging and accessible with hands-on learning activities, we foster academic excellence while empowering Emirati students to become innovators and leaders who will shape a brighter future for the UAE.”
