According to Pinkvilla, the actor is all set to join forces with filmmaker JP Duttato present a sequel to India’s popular war drama ‘Border’.The team has been reportedly planning ‘Border 2’ since the past few years and an official announcement of the sequel is expected to make in the coming weeks. According to the news portal, yet another tale from the 1971 Indo-Pak war has been finalized as the basis for ‘Border 2’. This sequel will be produced by JP Dutta and his daughter Nidhi Dutta and the script writing is expected to happen soon.
‘Border’ was set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistan clash of 1971 and the Battle of Longewala. Its ensemble cast featured Sunny, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Sudesh Berry, Puneet Issar and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. While Sunny Deol will be retained from the first part, actors from the newer generation are expected to join the cast.
