Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington will host this year’s Woolworths Carols in the Domain.
The Sunrise duo, who also hosted the iconic festive event last year, delivered the news on the breakfast show on Friday.

They also revealed the event will go to air live this year, so viewers can join in the fun as it happens.
“We’re back! Yep, Shirvo and I, returning to host Woolworths Carols in the Domain,” a clearly excited Nat Barr said.
“We’ve been getting ready for the big night and getting into the Christmas spirit too,” Shirvo added.
“The best part is, Carols is live this year. The line-up is huge from Samantha Jade, Hugh Sheridan, Conrad Sewell, Budjerah and The Wiggles, of course.”
Barr reminded Shirvo of one of the most important guests of all.
“Don’t forget Santa,” she said.
Before the announcement, Barr told 7NEWS.com.au she was excited to spread some Christmas cheer at one of Sydney’s most loved events.
“It’s been a really tough year for so many Aussies so I think this year’s Carols in the Domain will be really special,” Barr said.
“A night for us all to gather around the TV — or in The Domain in Sydney if you can make it — and share something really beautiful and fun — to take everybody’s mind off all the other stuff in life.”
Shirvo was equally pumped.
“There’s nothing more exciting, wholesome and fun than belting out some of our favourite Chrissy carols with family and friends at this time of year,” Shirvo said.
“Carols in the Domain is just magic, it’s an enormous production with some of Australia’s biggest performers taking part, I’m so honoured to be back with Nat hosting again.
“We’re going live for the first time in ages, plus I’ve got a bunch of my family coming along this year which will make the night even more special.”
Carols in the Domain, Saturday December 21, 8pm, live on Channel 7 and 7plus.
