Supercars in super crash as transport truck topples over

A car transporter carrying nine high-end vehicles, including a Mercedes-AMG GT and a Lamborghini Aventador, has toppled over in the UK.

The truck driver was en route to the Goodwood Motor Circuit after a track day at Brands Hatch in Kent, England.

The vehicles belonged to Everyman Racing which released a statement, saying: “We are immensely proud of our HGV driver Richard, who’s reflexes and quick thinking last night averted what could have been a nasty accident with other road users.”

Local news station Kent Live reports one person involved in the incident sustained a minor injury. It’s currently unclear how much damage the vehicles received.

However, video of the aftermath shows a Bentley Continental upside down metres from the trailer and a large amount of glass smashed along the road.

Kent Live reports local police officers were called to the accident, which took place on the A20 near Brands Hatch, around 8pm on Wednesday.

The trip was intended to take 1 hour and 28 minutes but the vehicles never arrived for the event.

However, Everyman Racing confirmed it “rejigged a few arrangements” and “raided [its] extensive fleet” to ensure the event went ahead as scheduled.

The vehicles on the truck reported included Ferrari F430 Spiders, a Lamborghini Aventador, an Aston Martin Vantage, a Nissan GT-R, a Mercedes-AMG GT, and a BMW 3 Series.

According to Everyman Racing’s Instagram page the company also has Porsches, McLarens, Subarus, Audis and more on its fleet for track days and events within England.
