DUBAI: Renowned chef Izumi Kimura, from the Tokyo Michelin-starred restaurant Sushi Jin, is collaborating with Dubai-based Japanese restaurant TakaHisa for the fourth time to bring a memorable Omakase experience until Nov. 13.
The three chefs are joining forces to bring their world-class experiences as they curate a special experience that showcases the wide variety of Japanese flavors.
The menu includes authentic Japanese dishes such as Kegani Chawanmushi, which features a gold steamed egg with hair crab, as well as Kushi Katsu Trio which has fatty tuna and Kobe beef cutlets.
Other dishes include Aji Bo Sushi and Kawaghi Temaki, a dish that includes rolled horse mackerel with shiso seeds, black pepper, and sesame handroll filefish. Additionally, a dish featuring grilled Japanese blackthroat seaperch and fig tempura is also presented.
The highlight of the menu is the chefs’ iconic sushi omakase, as guests can indulge in various kinds, such as aori ika, oval squid, shiro ebi, and toro. The guests conclude the experience with a tasty matcha-flavored dessert.
The three-day experience ends on Tuesday and will be available at 1 pm, 6 pm, and 9 pm at TakaHisa in Dubai’s Bluewaters Island. Reservation is required as seats are limited.
