New Delhi: The tensions between Iran and Israel are at an all-time high. Amidst this, Iran has issued a big threat to the Jewish regime as the IDF is carrying out attacks on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and West Bank and on Hezbollah in Lebanon,
Iran has said that it will not allow the Jewish regime to decide the fate of Muslims as Iran is said to be preparing a massive attack on Israel to avenge the October 26 airstrikes which killed four Iranian soldiers.
In what is being seen as a build up before the attack, the senior Iranian commanders are making incendiary statements.
Iran has become more vocal since it improved its relations with Saudi Arabia after prolonged hostilities between the two Muslim nations. It cannot be denied that Saudi Arabia has distanced itself from Israel with which it had friendly relations until it raised the issue of Israeli attacks on civilians in Gaza.
The Palestine issue has helped in bridging the Shia-Sunni gap in the region.
IRGC chief threatens Israel
Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has threatened Israel with vengeance for its continuous bombing of civilians in Palestine and Lebanon.
“Our eyes are set on the Zionist regime and we will fight to the end,” he said adding that Iran would stop Israel from deciding the fate of Muslims.
Iran preparing for another attack
Iran fired 180 ballistic missiles at Israel on October 1, what it termed as the revenge for the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC commander Abbas Nilforoushan.
Iran had launched missile and drone attacks on Israel on April 13 and October 1 after which Israel retaliated on October 26 by launching airstrikes involving 100 fighter jets.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei also warned of Operation True Promise 3 which he said would be more deadly than the April and October attacks.
