Stock market today started the session in negative territory after the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for the fiscal year 2024-25. The 30-share S&P BSE Sensex opened at 80,343.38, declined by 85.66 points or 0.11 per cent. NSE Nifty50 also declined by 34.10 points or 0.14 per cent and started the session in red at 24,444.95.

  3. Infosys Stock: Company said that it has agreed with Germany-based venture capital fund UVC Partners, committing to invest 5.0 million euros.
  4. Vedanta Stock: Company’s board is scheduled to meet on Friday to consider an interim dividend for shareholders. 
  5. Dr Reddy’s Labs Stock: Company board is set to meet on Saturday to consider a proposal to split the company’s stock. 
  6. Hindustan Unilever Stock: Company reported a nearly 3% increase in its standalone net profit to Rs 2,538 crore with 30 bps growth in its margin. 
  7. Bajaj Finance Stock: Company registered growth of 13.8% in its consolidated net profit to Rs 3,912 crore with a 24.5% increase in NII.
  8. Titagarh Rail Systems Stock: Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has commenced the export of traction converters, pursuant to which the first batch of 8 converters were shipped to Titagarh Firema, Italy on July 19, 2024. 
  9. SpiceJet Stock: SpiceJet’s board of directors has approved raising of funds worth up to Rs 3,000 crore through issue of equity shares or any other eligible securities to qualified institutional buyers by way of qualified institutional placement.
  10. Tata Consumer Products Stock: The Tata Group company has fixed July 27 as a record date for its Rs 3,000 crore rights issue.
