The Morning Show host Kylie Gillies’ ‘sexy’ dress snap stuns

Kylie Gillies has sent her Instagram fans into meltdown over an “absolutely stunning” new look.

The Morning Show host dressed up for a special cause over the weekend, raising awareness for the Children’s Cancer Institute.

Alongside 7NEWS presenter Michael Usher, Kylie hosted the Diamond Ball — which brings together the institute’s most loyal supporters and partners “for a night of fun, entertainment and most importantly raising funds to support childhood cancer research”.

Kylie shared two photos of the look ahead of leaving for the ball, stunning in a one-shoulder black gown with ruffled details from Sheike.

She paired the outfit with a black smoky-eyed look and black heels.

“Ok Children’s Cancer Institute — let’s do this!” her caption read.

“Slipped out of my trackies and slipping behind the microphone with Michael Usher for hosting duties. $1.5 million is the aim ❤️🙏❤️ @childrenscancerinstitute @michaelusher.”

Friends and followers shared their love for the look, including Sunrise host Natalie Barr, who shared a fire emoji reaction.

“Omg 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” radio host Jackie O Henderson wrote.

“Pure class,” one follower added.

“You look gorgeous Kylie. Have a great night for a very worthy cause ❤️,” another wrote.

Also to share a photo from the night was Kylie’s co-host Michael Usher, who joked that he had replaced her Morning Show co-host Larry Emdur for the night.

“Larry who? Partnered up with @kyliegillies for the evening to co-host the simply incredible Diamond Ball for the @childrenscancerinstitute,” he wrote.

“More than $1.6m raised!!! That’s straight to research saving young lives and aiming for zero childhood cancer.

“Not if, but when is their motto. Well done to everyone there with very deep pockets.”

Larry took to the comments, writing, “My pleasure @michaelusher, anytime 🙌 . And I mean anytime”.

“Well done MU!!! Always a great night made even better by you and Kylie! 🙌👏👏👏,” Sunrise sports presenter Mark Beretta wrote.

“What a terrific night in a room full of fantastic humans. 🙌🙌🙌,” Kylie responded.

The Children’s Cancer Institute’s Instagram account also responded to Michael’s post, writing, “You were fantastic @michaelusher. Thanks for racing straight from the news desk to the podium and for your wonderful ability to engage and inspire the room”.

Also to speak during the Diamond Ball were former MKR couple Carly Saunders and Tresne Middleton who lost their beloved daughter Poppy Grace in February after a 20-month-long battle with leukaemia.

“Last night we had the privilege of delivering the parent’s speech to 800 people at Children’s Cancer Institute Diamond Ball,” they shared on their Instagram account on Sunday.

“It was such an honour to be able to meet so many of the cancer researchers in the room and hear stories of how children are being cured where previously there were limited options for treatment.

“The energy and the generosity in the room was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced.

“How special it was to share our precious Poppy Grace’s story to help fundraise over $1.6 million in one evening!”

Accompanying footage showed Carly and Tresne stunning at the ball, sharing Poppy’s tribute in the pamphlet and later taking to the stage to share their story with the room.
