These Christmas books are among the best ever released – the popular titles never fail to get people into the Christmas spirit and have become timeless classics.

The festive novels are household names and crop up every year, and readers love to revisit these tales.

Books such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which has been adapted for the screen, have become a crucial part of the festive season for many.

As a lifelong book lover, and after studying English Literature at University, this is my list of the most iconic 10 Christmas books of all time.

This novel, the tale of Narnia, has become a Christmas hit – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a high fantasy novel for children by C. S. Lewis, it was originally published in 1950.

Over the years, readers have enjoyed immersing into the land of talking animals and mythical creatures while getting into the festive spirit.
