Born on December 28, 1937, in Mumbai, Tata was the Chairman of Ratan Tata Trust and Dorabji Tata Trust, two of the largest private-sector-promoted philanthropic trusts in India. He was the Chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, from 1991 until his retirement in 2012. Then he was appointed Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons. He was honoured with the country’s second-highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan, in 2008.

He was widely celebrated for his philanthropic efforts. As the former chairman of Tata Sons, he has dedicated much of his life and resources to improving healthcare, education, rural development, and other social causes in India. Chetan studied a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, while Aditi’s academic background includes studies in forensics and international relations. Despite their different academic backgrounds, they shared a common life goal, which led them to embark on their entrepreneurial journey together. Before launching their company, they sought guidance from their idol, Ratan Tata. At that time, they were facing challenges in getting their venture off the ground, and mentorship from Tata was crucial in shaping their path forward.
