CBSE Board Exam Date 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday declared the schedule for the upcoming CBSE Board Exam 2025. As per the schedule, exams for CBSE Secondary School Examination 2025 will begin from February 15 and continue till March 18th, 2025. The CBSE Senior School Certificate Exam 2025 will also start from February 15 2025 and end on April 4th, 2025. Check the detailed timetables for both classes 10 and 12 below.
As per the schedule, Class 10 exams will begin on February 15 with the English paper and Class 12 will start with the entrepreneurship exam on the same day.
Students of the respected classes can also visit the official website of the CBSE and download the datasheet — cbse.gov.in. The Board has stated that approx. 44 lakh students are going to appear for Class 10, and 12 examinations this year.
The board examinations for both the major classes will be held in the morning shift at around 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and some from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Let me break it down for you. The Central Board of Secondary Education, also known as CBSE, on September 27, made an essential announcement requiring all examination halls across schools to have CCTV cameras installed. This decision was shared via a notice to all principals and heads of institutions associated with CBSE. Furthermore, the board exams for the 10th and 12th grades will now only be conducted in rooms where CCTV facilities are available. If a school doesn’t have these cameras in place, it won’t serve as an examination center for students anymore. Apparently, these changes start to apply from the examinations happening in the year 2025.

Last year, we had the Class 12 board exams spaced out over multitude of dates: starting from February 15 all the way through April 2, with a few days off in between. Conversely, the Class 10 exams also had a similar set up, kicking off from February 15 and wrapping it all up by March 13.
