Tommy Hilfiger has announced the opening of its newest outlet store in Brisbane, as the U.S. fashion brand continues to expand its presence across the Australian market.
Located in the DFO mall, one of the Queensland capital’s most prominent shopping destinations with over 140 stores and just five minutes from Brisbane airport, the new 876-square-metre ground floor Tommy Hilfiger outlet store is the largest outlet location in Australia, offering a wide range of apparel and accessories from multiple Tommy Hilfiger collections.
Drawing inspiration from the nautical lifestyle, the sleek new space seamlessly blends the brand’s heritage with modern finishes and a vibrant ambiance, providing a place for visitors to explore seasonal styles, at discount prices.
Guests who attended the first weekend opening events on June 28 were also offered an exclusive Tommy Hilfiger cap with purchase.
In its most recent trading update, parent company PVH Corp. announced a 10% drop in revenues to $1.952 billion for the first quarter, held back by a sluggish wholesale segment.
The New York-based company said Tommy Hilfiger revenue decreased 10% compared to the prior year period, due to a 14% drop in international revenues, slightly offset by a 2% gain in North America sales.
