A 23-year-old Toronto man is accused of sexual assault after separate attacks last week in the downtown area.

Toronto Police said they initially responded to a call about a sexual assault in the Bay-Adelaide Sts. area on Nov. 6 at about 8:30 p.m. after a woman was assaulted earlier in the day.
Police said an unknown male approached the victim from behind and sexually assaulted her. He continued to walk northbound on Bay before fleeing.

Officers were able to connect the suspect to another incident at Spadina Station on Nov. 7, when they received another sexual assault call at about 2:20 p.m. in the Spadina Rd.-Bloor St. W. area.
The victim was standing on the subway platform when she was approached by an unknown male suspect and sexually assaulted. The man then boarded a subway train and left.
Javonte Williams, of Toronto, turned himself in to police on Monday and was charged with two counts of sexual assault.
