Under the hood, this seven-seater MPV gets a 1.5-litre K Series petrol engine that produces 102.4 hp and 137 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Rumion is also available with a petrol plus CNG option. The CNG variant produces 87.83 hp and 121.5 Nm of peak torque.

Another key highlight of the Rumion MPV is its claimed fuel efficiency of 20.51 kmpl for the petrol variant whereas the CNG variant delivers 26.11 km/kg.
In terms of overall design, the Rumion looks more or less the same as Ertiga, albeit a tweaked bumper with trapezoidal fog lamps holders and a new Innova Crysta-esque chrome-finished grille.
Talking about the features, the top-of-the-line Rumion variant is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, analog instrument cluster with digital MID, automatic air conditioning, connected technologies, 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, and more.
The Rumion MPV will rival its own sibling, the Maruti Ertiga, but also will aim to take its pie from the Kia Carens entry-level variants’ sales.
