Toyota: Tesla pokes fun at Toyota: Cybertruck gets hilarious Tundra pickup guise

Tesla, just like its CEO Elon Musk, is a brand known for its query sense of humour. While Musk has lately been in the news for taking on his rival and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg in a MMA fight, Tesla too hasn’t been afraid to poke fun at its competitors lately. In a recent video that is doing rounds on social media, a Tesla Cybertruck was spotted wrapped in a hilarious Toyota Tundra guise. The video was posted on Cybertruck Owners Club.
This isn’t the first time that such reported banter has been on display from the American manufacturer. It was only last month that the Cybertruck was spotted in the guise of a Ford F-150.

While the Musk-led company hasn’t been known to camouflage the highly-anticipated electric pickup truck, it has recently been spotted sporting the looks of rival pickup trucks. The intention behind this move isn’t known but it has developed a theory that the company is doing so to troll its rivals.
The Cybertruck will likely be available in a sole stainless-steel finish. However, the vinyl wrap seen in the latest video covers the entire body, making it look like the Tundra, which is one of the highest-selling pickup trucks in the US.
The Cybertruck is expected to be launched in a delivery event at the end of September, as per several reports. Author Walter Isaacson, who is writing a book on Musk, said that the latter went for a radical design approach for the Cybertruck because he thought that the trucks that constitute a large part of the US Automotive market were ‘boring’ in design.
