West Coast have paid tribute to former premiership player David Hart after the tragic death of his son Kye over the weekend.
Kye, who lived on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, died on Saturday.
The 24-year-old’s death has left family members devastated.

David Hart played 184 games for West Coast between 1987 and 1997.
His best year came in 1994 when he named in the All-Australian team and played in the Eagles’ grand final win over Geelong.
West Coast released a short statement on Thursday.
“We send our heartfelt condolences to David Hart and his family on the passing of his son, Kye. Sending all our love and support to the Hart family,” they wrote.
Kye also played Aussie Rules played in the QAFL for the Noosa Tigers.
A GoFundMe has been created for the grieving family following the tragedy.
“We are absolutely heartbroken and devastated. There aren’t enough words to describe how much we love Kye and how much we will miss him,” family member Jess Hart said.
“Kye’s love and affection was contagious, his cheeky beautiful smile would light up any room. Kye had the biggest heart and only wanted to give and help others.
“In this incredibly difficult time we are reaching out for your support to navigate through the challenging times ahead. The funds raised will go towards covering immediate expenses and funeral costs.”
“We are grateful for your kindness, prayers and support through this tragedy.”
