Former President Trump hammered down on his comments alleging Mark Cuban was “insecure” after the billionaire claimed the Republican nominee was “intimidated” by intelligent women.
“I know Mark very well. He’s a very insecure guy. He can’t hit a golf ball more than 50 yards,” Trump said during a Saturday call in to Fox and Friends. “He’s weak physically and mentally as far as I’m concerned, but I’ve known him for a long time.”
The former president also described Cuban’s retraction and apology as a “weak” move.
“He’s totally retracted his statement like weak people always do, they restrict their statements,” Trump said.
After Cuban’s comments, various Republican women hit back on the billionaire’s claims while affirming Trump’s support of them and their leadership.
“I’m told @mcuban needs help identifying the strong and intelligent women surrounding Pres. Trump. Well, here we are,” senior Trump adviser Susan Wiles posted on X.
New York Rep. Elise Stefanik (R ) also chimed in encouraging voters to cast their ballot for Trump.
“I’m proud to be the highest-ranking woman in the United States Congress. When I ran, I was the youngest woman ever elected. I’m the most senior woman on the House Arms Services Committee, the House Intelligence Committee and I proudly am voting and endorse President Trump,” Stefanik said in a video. “Save America in five days, vote Trump.”
During the former president’s call in, he said Cuban was held accountable by “strong people.”
“He was hit by the strongest people. It wasn’t men, it was women,” Trump said on air.
“He was hit women that make men look like babies because if you know many of the women that I deal with, that I have, and I could go over the list but the list is long, including the fact that I happen to be married to a rather strong woman who just right now happens to have the number one best seller in the whole wide world.”
Trump has criticized Cuban regularly throughout the campaign cycle. Last month, he called the top Harris surrogate a “loser” in a Truth Social post.
