For the second time, the United States will host the tournament. The U.S. also hosted the Copa América Centenario in 2016. Just like in 2016 with the U.S. hosting, teams from Concacaf will compete against those from CONMEBOL — the South American soccer federation which usually hosts the Copa America.

Six Concacaf teams — the U.S., Mexico, Jamaica, Panama, Canada and Costa Rica — will join 10 CONMEBOL teams — Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Eduador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela — for a 16-team tournament that will have matches being held in 14 different cities.

The 2024 Copa América could be the final major international tournament for the soccer G.O.A.T., Lionel Messi, who will be the star attraction for the betting favorite, Argentina.
