The company recently launched the TVS X electric scooter to the Indian market at Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom). TVS Apache RTR 310 will be the second product from the company that will be launching within 15 days.
The new Apache RTR 310 will be based on the same platform as the Apache RR 310, BMW G310RR and G310GS ADV. The new Apache 310 will likely share multiple components and features with these models and the RTR 310 is essentially a naked version of the fully faired Apache RR310.
In terms of design, the bike gets slim split LED headlights with newly designed LED taillights at the back. The bike looks aggressive and muscular with a sculpted fuel tank and sharp cuts and creases. It also features a split seat design with an upswept exhaust.
The teasers also reveal that the new RTR 310 will get USD forks at the front and a mono-shock setup at the rear. The RTR 310 will also feature disc brakes on both ends and is expected to get dual-channel ABS as standard. Expected features include a digital TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, call and music display, TVS SmartXonnect connectivity suite with navigation, ride analytics, geo-fencing and more. The bike is also expected to get multiple ride modes such as Sport, track, urban and rain modes.

The new TVS Apache 310 is likely to be powered by the same 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol engine which does the duty in Apache RR310 and other BMW 310 models. This engine belts out 34 PS of power and 27.3 Nm of torque. However, TVS might tune the engine differently for the RTR 310.
