New Delhi: With the conclusion of the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET), the National Testing Agency is expected to release the UGC NET provisional answer key. The UGC NET Answer Key can be accessed at nta.ac.in and https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/. This year, the UGC NET examination was scheduled from August 21 to September 4, 2024. However, the examination was canceled at several UGC NET test centres owing to technical glitches and natural calamities. Later, these centres conducted the competitive examination on September 4 and 5 respectively. Follow the steps given below to access the UGC NET Answer Key.

  1. Visit the official website of NTA University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) at  nta.ac.in and https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/.
  2. Look for the link,” Public Notice Answer Key Challenge UGC – NET June 2024.”
  3. Enter the login details such as application number and date of birth.
  4. Your UGC NET Answer Key will appear on the screen.
  5. Download and take a printout of it for future reference.

UGC NET 2024: Check Marking Scheme

  • Each question carries 02 (two) marks.
  • For each correct response, candidate will get 02 (two) marks.
  • There is no negative marking for incorrect response.
  • No marks will be given for questions un-answered/un-attempted/marked for Review.
  • To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as correct option.
  • If a question is found to be incorrect/ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers would be given the credit.
  • If a question is found to be incorrect and the Question is dropped, then two marks (+2) will be awarded to only to those candidates who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error. Since, there is no negative marking, candidate needs to choose one most appropriate option as correct answer.
