The Japanese apparel retailer is set to expand its presence throughout Ontario, as well as in the province of British Columbia by the end of the year. Notably, the new Uniqlo stores opening this fall are at CF Sherway Gardens in Toronto, Ontario, Heartland Centre Town in Mississauga, Ontario, Bramalea City Centre in Brampton, Ontario, and Willowbrook Shopping Centre in Langley, British Columbia.

This expansion is part of Uniqlo’s strategy to reach 200 stores in North America by 2027, building on the momentum initiated in 2022.

“We have seen incredible momentum throughout Canada, and we couldn’t be more excited to open four new stores,” said Daisuke Tsukagoshi, CEO of Uniqlo North America.

“Uniqlo continues to resonate with Canadian customers, and we aim to deliver essential clothing that compliments their lifestyles, made to be building blocks of their wardrobe with longevity in mind.”

The brand opened its first Canadian store in 2016 at Toronto’s Eaton Centre. The success of Uniqlo’s core LifeWear products and designer collaborations has cemented its global popularity, fostering deeper connections with Canadian customers.

Earlier this year, Uniqlo also announced the opening of its first stores in Texas, Houston, and Dallas, along with plans to extend its presence on the West Coast, this Fall/Winter.
