Uniqlo’s latest Clare Waight Keller offer debuts next month

Uniqlo is preparing to launch its latest collection in its ongoing link-up with British designer Clare Waight Keller, with the Japanese chain saying she’s come up with “a modern wardrobe of ease and casual sophistication”.

The Uniqlo: C spring 24 womenswear offer will be in-store on 22 February and will be followed by the summer collection that debuts on 4 April.

We’re told the line is “light, comfortable, and alive with fresh energy to complement everyday life”.

The pieces come in shades of poppy red, blush pink, aqua blue, and army green with a total of 35 items including outerwear, knitwear, skirts and trousers, dresses, shirts and blouses, bags and shoes, cut-and-sew and accessories.

Prices will start at £14.90, rising to a maximum of £99.90.

It’s a dressed down selection although it includes some pieces that can be dressed up too, such as a pale-toned semi-sheer pleated dotted camisole dress at £49.90 and a vibrant red short-sleeved open-back dress at £39.90.

There’s also a relaxed fit tailored blazer at £79.90 and pleated wide-leg trousers at £39.90 for a touch of toned-down formality.

Waight Keller said: “In this second collection, I wanted to explore the concept of movement through lightness. Working with ultra-light fabrications, I found a new perspective of proportions. Longer volumes play against cropped silhouettes. Fluidity and freshness were key elements of the spirit. I think that spring represents a time of transition where the seasons change, and our wardrobes need the same flexibility. I love the mix between tailored and relaxed styles. The feeling is effortlessly elegant with a youthful attitude that captures the lightness and ease of summertime.”
