Vacheron Constantin has named Laurent Perves as its new CEO. Perves will assume his new role on January 1 2025, succeeding Louis Ferla, with whom he has collaborated closely for the last eight years.
A Swiss-French national, Perves joined the luxury watch-maker owned by Richemont in 2016, first as chief marketing officer and, from 2021, as chief commercial officer. His career in the watch-making industry began in 2014, when he joined Audemars Piguet as head of brand communication, building a specific expertise in digital platforms and trade marketing, while redesigning the brand’s communication strategy.
Perves has worked in the luxury industry for over 20 years. He started out at LVMH, as communication and change manager for the Perfumes & Cosmetics category. He then worked for 10 years in Procter & Gamble’s Prestige Products division, in a variety of roles within consumer intelligence, marketing, design and business development, before being appointed global brand manager of Gucci perfumes in 2012.
Perves has a master’s degree in economics and marketing from ESSCA, and did master’s degrees in process engineering and project management at Polytech Angers University, and in strategy and organization at Paris Dauphine University. He is also a visiting professor at Paris Dauphine University, Neoma and Geneva University.
