The Mysuru-MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express will now run on all days except Thursdays, which were earlier Wednesdays.
New Delhi: In a major update to the timings and schedule of the Vande Bharat Express running from Mysore to MGR Chennai Central, Indian Railways has announced that the train services will now be closed on Thursdays rather than on Wednesdays. For the unversed, the Mysuru-Chennai Vande Bharat Express (22663/22664) used to run daily and was closed only on Wednesdays, but will now be closed on Thursdays. Most importantly, the Indian Railways has confirmed that the new timings will come into effect on June 30 this year.
Mysuru-MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express: Time Table
As per the current timetable, the Mysuru-MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express train (20663) travels from Mysuru to Chennai Central every day of the week except Wednesday (which will now be Thursdays). It starts in Mysuru at 6:00 AM and arrives in Chennai Central at around 12:20 PM. During its journey, it makes stops at Mandya (06:28 AM), S M Vijayanagar (07:45 AM), Krishnarajapuram (08:04 AM), and Katpadi (10:33/10:35) stations.
In its return journey, the MGR Chennai Central-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express train (20664) departs from MG Chennai at 17:00 PM for Mysuru and arrives at its destination at around 23:20 PM. During its journey, the MG Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express makes stops at stations including Katpadi (18:23 PM), Krishnarajapuram (20:48 PM), S M Vijayanagar Bengaluru (21:25 PM), and Mandya (22:38/22:40) before reaching its final stop at Mysuru.
